During the month of November we celebrate three important women in our story, who each embarked on a deeply personal Journey into God.

These three women were called to change their lives, and because they were open to God, they responded even though there were many difficulties.

In our world today many people are encountering huge difficulties as they embark on coping with the implications of the “cuts” as laid out by the new government. That may, or may not bring them closer to God, but lives will certainly change. At the same time a small group of people have responded to the challenge to make a deeply personal Journey into God in the TV programme “The Big Silence”. A reminder that our world has little productive silence in it, and of what can happen when we try to be open to God in the depths of silence.

On YOUR Journey to God are you being called to something new, something deeper; to build more silence into your life; to a more committed service to others; to live more radically the gospel values of compassion, connectedness, inclusion….?
