Llannerchwen means “beautiful, holy glade” It is a place of stillness and silence described by visitors as “a haven” “a thin place where God is very near”.
Located just outside the mid-Wales market town of Brecon, this rather special place offers the opportunity for people from a wide variety of faith backgrounds and experiences to experience solitude,
to make a private retreat or individually guided retreat.
Accomodation is in individual hermitages or a small cottage and bungalow. Self catering is possible in every residence as well as the option of a cooked main meal during individually guided retreats.
