Silvana Dallanegra RSCJ was one of three people interviewed by Mike Naylor of BBC Three Counties Radio Sunday Breakfast show, on the themes that run throughout Call the Midwife. The period drama, adapted from the memoirs of former midwife Jennifer Worth, follows a group of nuns and nurse midwives working in the East End of London in the late 1950’s and early 1960’s, and is now in its 8th series.

In the interview Silvana talks about the realism of the characters, and the correlation between the life issues that nuns were faced with then and the issues that religious sisters work with today in their ministries.
