Since Easter two RSCJ from Latin America have been in this Province, studying English and experiencing our life and culture, prior to going to Rome in September to prepare for their perpetual vows. Here they introduce themselves: -
Milagritos Campos Mori (PERU)
I am living my international experience in Rodway Road Community. During these months, I am making efforts to learn English, this being both a challenge and an enriching experience in view of the cultural diversity among my companions. This is a time of experiencing interiorisation, growth, gaining a wider knowledge of the Congregation and recognising that we all walk with the same ideal and common feeling. I thank the Province of England-Wales for the welcome and my community for their affection, trust and for making this experience a time of joy and fecundity.
Francislaine Regina de Paula (BRAZIL)
I live in a community in the Forest Gate area and I am studying English. It is a challenging experience with some amusing moments. One of the things I am experiencing is to explore the cultural diversity of the place where I live. Getting to know our neighbours from India, Syria and Pakistan is a new learning experience for me and at the same timeI feel close to the recent terrorist attacks, which bring me closer to the compassion of the Heart of Jesus. I thank all the sisters who made it possible for me to be here, and those people who today are the presence of God in my life.
